Charge

I am working on the Saschen-Vindow 's army with a view to getting a Charge game on the table soon. These are members of the Militia .

I hope to start on a light infantry /dismounted jaeger company this week. Afterwards I will have a go at the plastic huzzars. I am still worried re flaking paint but I will have a go...

Very good-looking men, for militia types! Any 'Old' line regiment would be proud of such Colours. And the soldiers themselves would not be out of place in, say, Regt Ibernia or the first infantry regiment of the Duchy of Skogsmork...

Compliments,
Jean-Louis

PS: will the Tradgarlander militia from Ny Tradgarland and the Nicobar be there in time to stop them?

What medium will you use to prime your plastic figures?

That is the six million dollar question...

Alot of plastics people use gesso (a type of plaster for preparing canvases for painting). It's available in tubs and spray-on. If you look at TMP's painting and plastics message boards, you'll find many suggestions. Or ask Stokes of Stollen what he uses--obviously it works.
